However, it isn't too late for DeSantis quite yet. Polls could change after he enters the race for the White House. However, at the moment, DeSantis has a lot to overcome as Trump eclipses him in polling. One thing that could deeply affect the race is a conviction for Trump, which might serve as a game-changing advantage for DeSantis. For the time being, Trump stands with vast momentum.
